Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Anime Continues With A Part 2

The first season of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime ended on Sunday. Lucky for us, the end of the last episode confirmed that there will be a second season for the anime. Funimation also confirmed that there would be a season 2 in the future.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation came out in Japan on January 11, 2021. The anime aired on 4 tv stations in Japan and Funimation streamed it in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico, and Brazil.

If youre like me and you’ve heard of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation in passing but have no clue what the series is about, Funimation describes it as such:

The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby.

With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he’s still a total pervert.

So…another isekai where the protagonist gets another chance to not be useless in life? Great. Amazing. We truly love to see it. But I digress.

Manabu Okamoto directed the series at Studio BindEGG FIRM also helped produce the anime. Kazutaka Sugiyama, who was the animation director for DARLING in the FRANXX, designed the characters. Yuiko Ōhara produced, wrote, scored, and sang both the opening theme song and the ending theme song.

Along with a second season, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, is also supposed to get a mobile game. The game is called  Mushoku Tensei ~Game ni Nattemo Honki Dasu~ and it’s supposed to be a free-to-play, role-playing-game for iOS and Android devices.

There is no set release game for the Jobless Reincarnation mobile game or for Jobless Reincarnation season 2 as of yet. We will continue covering this series and keep you updated!
