Monday’s issue of Shonen Jump revealed that the Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan video game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Steam. Previous announcements for the game said that the game will come out on PlayStation 4 as well.
The official website for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan also released a new visual for the game, courtesy of the animation studio ufotable.
The game features a single-player mode where you play as Tanjiro and you get to go through the events of the anime. There’s also a multiplayer mode where you get to pick different characters and battle.
The official website for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan says that up to two people online or offline can play in battle mode. The website also says that you can choose any character from the main anime to fight with.
There was also supposed to be a Demon Slayer battle royale game coming out on mobile, but Aniplex decided to delay the game’s release indefinitely.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppū Kengeki Royale was originally supposed to come out in 2020, but Aniplex wanted to improve the game’s quality.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppū Kengeki Royale is set up to be a free-to-play mobile game that pits teams of demon slayers and demons against each other. The players get to fight in a variety of settings from the anime and they would have various characters from the anime to choose from.
Although we don’t have an expected release date for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan, we do know that the game is going to debut this year. We’ll be continuing to cover Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan‘s debut so stay tuned for more updates!
