LBX Girls Anime First Promo Video Reveals OP (Video)

    The official website for the LBX Girls anime posted the anime’s first full promotional video on Monday. The video previews the opening theme song “Dream Hopper” by Rikako Aida and it shows some of the battle scenes we can look forward to seeing in the anime. There’s also a preview for the first episode of LBX girls on the website as well.

    If you’ve never heard of LBX Girls until now, its an isekai that revolves around a girl named Riko. Funimation describes the premise of the anime as such:


    “In an unplanned field trip, Riko is transported to an alternate Japan where metal-based life forms known as Mimesis ravage the world. Only girls equipped with LBX armored weaponry can stand up to this scourge. Joined by four other displaced young women, Riko will have to adapt to save humanity. The hope of a planet now rests on these heavy metal soldiers who desire one wish—to return home again!”

    The actual story of the anime will be based on the story of the LBX video game Sōkō Musume Mizel Rem Crisis.

    As far as the cast and crew for LBX Girls is concerned, Rikako Aida is playing the main character Riko, and Rie Murakawa is playing Yui. Saori Ōnishi will be playing Kyōka, Ayaka Fukuhara as Miharu and last but not least Saki Miyashita as Suzuno.

    Keitaro Motonaga is directing the anime along with Level 5Yasuyuki Muto will be overseeing the series scripts, and Kumi Horii is designing the characters. Go Sakabe is composing the music for the series. As stated earlier,Riko’s voice actress Rikako Aida is performing the opening theme song. Kano will be performing the show’s ending theme song “Compass Song.”

    If you’re already excited for LBX Girls, or if you’re at least curious about it, it will première on January 6. In Japan, it’s going to air on Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS. Funimation will stream the anime onine as it airs in Japan.
