    Funimation Winter 2021 Anime Lineup

    Following our coverage on Crunchyroll’s Winter 2021 Anime Lineup, Funimation has a variety of winter anime not available on Crunchyroll. In fact, you might be surprised to find out just how many hyped shows they’ll be having.

    For starters, Funimation will have the some of the standard highly anticipated anime available to stream on their platform. These anime include:

    • Attack on Titan The Final Season
    • Dr. Stone – Stone Wars (Season 2)
    • That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2

    This is primarily where Funimation and Crunchyroll will cross over. Funimation will not have Jujutsu Kaisen and Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World Season 2 available to stream on their platform whereas Crunchyroll does. However, Funimation will provide The Promised Neverland Season 2, Cells at Work!! (Season 2), and Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table.

    Regarding new anime arriving on Funimation this season, here is a list of new shows with their scheduled premiere dates:

    • Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Sunday, January 10
    • Horimiya – Saturday, January 9
    • Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU – Thursdays at 10:30AM ET
    • KING’s Raid: Successors of the Will – Fridays at 12:23PM ET
    • Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town? – Monday, January 4
    • SK8 The Infinity – Friday, January 8

    New anime, such as Horimiya and SK8 The Infinity, have already generated a buzz on various social media websites and are solely available to stream on Funimation. So, Funimation will definitely be the streaming service to keep on your radar this season.
