In December, staff announced at Tokyo Comic Con Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is inspiring a manga adaptation that will launch in the issue of Monthly Shonen Sirius in January.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is an animated series that follows the life of two middle kids named Marinette and Adrien, who were chosen to save Paris from the evil doings of a mysterious super-villain. Now, Marinette and Adrien have superpowered alter egos named Ladybug & Cat Noir and they have to balance saving Paris on a weekly basis and living a normal teen life.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir initially debuted in South Korea in September 2015. The series debuted in France in October of the same year. Miraculous even had a brief run in the United States from December 2015 until 2016.
The second season of Miraculous premiered in France on Netflix in December 2016 and was followed by the third season in April 2019. The fourth season is slated to premiere in France this September, and it will also stream on Disney+.
As for the manga, the first chapter is supposed to be released on January 26th. Even though I’ve personally never seen the show, I’ve seen plenty of fanart for the show on Tumblr and I’m really excited to see how the series does in manga form.
Who knows? we may even get a Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir anime series in the future. Will you be checking the manga out as your intro to the series, or are you already a fan? Let us know!
