IDOLiSH7 Anime Gets a 3rd Season

IDOLiSH7 Second Beat! the second season of the IDOLiSH7 anime series, ended on Sunday. As the season ended, a third season was announced.

If you have never heard of the IDOLiSH7 series, the anime is based on the mobile game. The IDOLiSH7 game is a mix of a rhythm game and a visual novel that follows the groups’ journey as idols.

The first season premiered in Japan in January 2018 and ran for 17 episodes. Crunchyroll was streaming the anime as it aired in Japan so everyone could see it.

IDOLiSH7 Second Beat! officially premiered on April 5, 2020. The first episode of IDOLiSH7 Second Beat! debuted in January, (sounds weird but okay) and the series picked back up in April. IDOLiSH7 Second Beat! was delayed after episode 4 because of COVID. But the series resumed on October 4 and ended (as we know) on Sunday.

While we’re waiting for more information on the third season, Beyond the Shine, the soundtrack for IDOLiSH7 Second Beat! will ship on January 13, 2021.

The soundtrack will include the on-air versions of the opening and ending theme songs, along with episode 10’s ending theme song “It’s ALL -for you-.” The soundtrack also includes the insert song from episode 12, “Last Dimension (Symphonic Edition),” and the full version of the insert song from episode 15, “Gekijō.”

Beyond the Shine will also include a form to apply early for tickets to the “IDOLiSH7 Orchestra -Second Symphony-” on March 6 and 7,2021 at Osaka’s Fenice Sacay venue, and on April 8 and 9, 2021 at Pacifico Yokohama’s National Convention Hall.

The IDOLiSH7 official website and their official Twitter account will announce more details about season 3 in the future. And when they do, we’ll be here to cover it!
