Ever since the Jujutsu Kaisen anime’s rise to popularity, fans have waited for Good Smile Company to release their favorite characters’ Nendoroids. Good Smile Company is well known for their immense amount of character figurines. The company will frequently release figurines of characters from anime, DC comics, Marvel comics, Disney movies, and more! Each figurine, otherwise known as a Nendoroid, comes with a variety of accessories that, as a result, make the Nendoroid name so desirable. Each character will come with different faceplates to change facial expressions, multiple hands to change hand positions, and character-specific accessories.
Good Smile Company released three nendoroids of the three main characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. First, Itadori Yuuji was released for pre-order back in October. Itadori’s nendoroid features him recreating a variety of familiar scenes, such as Itadori with Sukuna’s finger, his Cursed Technique, and his punching pose from the beginning of the series. He also comes with a special stand base that features his hand with Sukuna’s mouth. Unfortunately, pre-orders for this nendoroid closed back in November. It will release officially for production and shipping in March 2021. It is possible that orders will open back up for the nendoroid sometime then.
Following Itadori, Fushiguro Megumi‘s nendoroid opened for pre-order at the beginning of November. Like Itadori, Fushiguro’s nendoroid features him in fan-familiar poses, such as his battle-ready pose, his hand gesture to summon his Divine Dogs, and him blushing. Additionally, the nendoroid comes with a small figurine of his Divine Dog and an illustration sheet of Nue. The base also features Fushiguro’s Divine Dog-summing hand gesture. Fortunately, this nendoroid’s pre-order is still available until December 23rd. The nendoroid will also be shipping out sometime in June 2021.
Lastly is the most anticipated nendoroid, Gojou Satoru. Fan-favorite Gojou’s nendoroid released for pre-order at the beginning of December. Compared to Itadori and Fushiguro, Gojou’s nendoroid will come with even more interchangeable parts. Firstly, fans can display Gojou with his blindfold, without, or with his sunglasses. He also comes with a standard expression, serious expression, and wide-eyed expression faceplates. Additionally, the nendoroid will come with a special right-hand part featuring a kikifuku mochi and the base will feature Gojou’s familiar hand pose. Preorders for this nendoroid will close January 20th and it will release for shipping sometime in July 2021.
Unfortunately for Sukuna fans, Itadori’s nendoroid does not come with a faceplate to turn him into Sukuna. However, it may be possible that Good Smile Company will release a separate Sukuna nendoroid with how popular his character is becoming within the anime fanbase.
