    Second Fate/Grand Order Movie Planned for Spring 2021

    Alongside the release of Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: CamelotWandering: Agateram on December 5th, the film project for the series released a teaser trailer for the second film, Paladin: Agateram, as well as an anticipated Spring 2021 release.

    The Fate/Grand Order films are derived from the popular smartphone game titled Fate/Grand Order. The game was released in Japan in Summer 2015. It was later translated into English for the United States and Canada in June 2017. Both films are adaptations of the Order VI: The Sacred Round Table Realm: Camelot story in the smartphone game.

    The first film, Wandering: Agateram, had a planned release on August 15th. However, COVID-19 delayed the premiere to December 5th.

    There are many famous voice actors taking part in the films. A couple of recognizable names include Shimazaki Nobunaga (the voice of Nanase Haruka from Free! and Sunakawa Makoto from Ore Monogatari) and Miyano Mamoru (Yagami Light from Death Note and Dazai Osamu from Bungou Stray Dogs).     Two directors from FLCL: Progressive will be directing both Fate/Grand Order films. Suezawa Kei directed the first movie, Wandering: Agateram, and Arai Kazuto will direct the second, Paladin: Agateram. Additionally, two animation studios will animate both movies. Production I.G produced the first movie and Signal.MD will produce the second.
