New Ad Teases Promised Neverland Season 2 Footage

A new ad for the second season of The Promised Neverland was released on YouTube and Twitter on November 5th. This is huge because it’s been about three months since the first teaser trailer was released. The trailer itself is really short, and it mostly gives us scenes from season 1, but at the very end it gives us a split second to see what the children are up to after escaping the farm.

What does this trailer mean for the second season of The Promised Neverland you may ask?

Well, this trailer lets us know that the second season is most definitely going to be released in Japan on January 7, 2021. This means that the long wait will finally be over soon. At first 2021 seemed like a long time to wait to find out what happens to Emma, Ray, and the other children, but now that we have an official release date the wait seems a little bit shorter. Anime fans have yet another reason to look forward to 2021.

Last week we covered what to expect from Season 2, so if you’re curious about some more in-depth speculation I recommend you check it out. Something new that I can say is that the anime is definitely starting to look like it will stay closely aligned with the original manga, which is one of the biggest things to hope for. If you haven’t read the manga yet then you’re in for a treat this January, and if you have then I’m sure you’re already grinning with excitement!
